PS3 Hardware and Compatibility Information (In Work)

Alright I have been seeing a number of issues regarding the region of the console/hardware information as well as region coding information for the discs. Generally Blu-Ray is regionless therefore it should work on any console though the trouble comes when you try to get DLC content off of the PSN Store.

This first table here is going to explain how to identify your consoles model number and then some of the specs for the console which can also be useful when purchasing a console:
