Successfully denying access to a program for Youtube

It seems more and more games are using Youtube as a method to try to show game play videos and allow players to earn fame by posting their videos to Youtube. Sometimes these sites and programs require special access to Youtube in order to properly post videos and manage them. I have often seen people receiving errors while trying to unlink their Youtube account from these sites/programs and vice versa. Many times users try to sever this link using the sites/programs but the change is never reflected on Youtubes site. So I have decided to provide you guys with a way to sever the access of the site from the Youtube side.

Here are those instructions:
1. Log into Youtube.com

2. Left click on your username in the upper right corner

3. Left click "Settings"

4. Left click "Manage Account" from the menu on the left

5. Left click on "here" ("here" is the actual link) in the "Authorized Sites" section

6. Left click [ Revoke Access] to the right of the bullet-point where “callofduty.com – YouTube” is

    1. After you revoke access on the Youtube end it may still display as being linked on the Elite portion of the site. This is due to the fact that what you just performed on Youtube has to travel through their system then the Call of Duty system to display the correct change. As long as the Elite service doesn't display on the Youtube end you should be fine and is a waiting game at this point

  2. I closed my old account.. and when I click "unlink" in Ellite it just refreshes and shows the same old account is linked.

Its a little tough to close it on YouTubes end when Ive already closed that account. I spent all this money on founder and elite.. for this? And where is clan ops?

    1. Alright so what happens is the Elite service runs all its video services through Youtube. So if you delete your Youtube account prior to unlinking everything it creates a corruption/error on the Elite service. unfortunately this is nothing to do with either Youtube or infinity ward the access should have been revoked prior to deleting the Youtube account. If you did not do this then you need to contact Youtube as this is due to that account being deleted prematurely
